End Oct dddddd!!

Wah, wah in another 5 mins, Oct is over and I have just officially another 7 days before I eh hem mature a year or grow (hopefully) wiser. These past 3 days seemed to pass surprisingly fast which was good! It's Thursday already tomorrow and then it's FRIDAYYYYY Yay! Yay! Lets see, Monday was a bit of a catch up on what was left undone on Friday. I went out for a drink with a friend at Bodega, had 2 rounds of drinks and feeling tipsy for quite a while. I supposed it was because I have not had dinner. Just had a few plain crackers prior to going. Still drove back home after chilling out a bit. Thank God for no road blocks.

Tuesday was a bit more hectic for me. I must admit I hate meetings or trainings that take you away from your workstations into a room for a few hours. Well it's fine if it's productive. Only annoying part is your job will keep piling up as long as you aren't attending to it. Such is life! There's forever last minute request and somehow some unsettled and new problems will just surface from out of nowhere. I wonder if it's because we buried the problem and try to let it rot but somehow it resurrected haha! Started with an meeting with the PR agencies on 2008 plans briefing which ended close to lunch time. Following lunch, there was a brainstorming session from 2-5pm. Oh well, there went the whole day and my boss wonders why I can't deliver certain things at time. Hey, I am no superwoman man! Chill!! The best part came after lunch when I was bitten by the vampire and boy did I feel drained out. The pain was dire and was feeling melancholy. I still went ahead to teach my night class which made me feel better after having sweat out a bit.

Ahh, it's Wednesday already. There was another security training today from 2-4:30pm after lunch. Felt a bit unproductive this half of the day due to the after effect of the vampire strike! I felt bad because I snap at a few colleagues but I guess they understood the underlying reason behind the reaction. Sorry guys! Glad that I managed to submit to my other department as promised (month end) before 5:30pm hehe the new artworks. Finally, i can pass on the burden. Such a heavy relief off my shoulder. Now I have other things to attend to sigh. Well it won't be work if I can say that I can finish. I left about 7:45pm, caught the shuttle and headed to Axis to just do a bit of cardio as I substituted my planned Monday session for drinks hehe ;) The pain didn't stop me though I must say it was a tough fight of mind over matter.

Super Packed Sunday

I stayed over at my friend's place at DP after a late night dinner in Bangsar. I fell asleep whilst everyone were watching Russell Peters doing his thang on DVD. He was farny enough to entertain but I guess I was too tired as it was way past my bedtime. Woke up the next day, changed and headed on straight to church because it will be late if I go back to get changed first.

After that, left for home to change into my gym gear to attend a dance/jamming party in Klang. I seemed to utilize every free time that I have. When I got home, I saw that clothes weren't hung to dry and did that before taking a shower to get ready to leave. I reached close to 1pm. No breakfast for me that morning. Had only a pack of Dutch Lady's Chocolate Milk. Am trying a friend's recommendation to not eat breakfast as it somehow seems to lead you on to continue eating. I must agree with that.

Lunch and breakfast is normally very close. I am trying to cut down calories. Well I ate a bit of carbo as well at the dance party as it was a sit down makan cum dance party. Took some of the dishes too coz I did intend to have my lunch. Did a few dances the "keng" way like I always have haha which tires me out after only a few dances compared to others who just dances for fun and can survive past 50 songs. I was told that I put on weight too sigh :/

Not something new to hear but I must let that get into my head and really cut down on my food intake. Got wedding in less than 3 weeks. After about almost 2 1/2 hours of dancing and eating, I left for home to get ready for my next activity, National Stadium for the MCA organized free concert. They called it the "50 Persembahan Kebudayaan Tahun Malaysiaku Gemilang which officially went on for 2 days, 27th & 28th. Me and CC opted for the 28th as he just flew in from UK on the 27th. We opted for public transport as that's the smartest way to get to Bukit Jalil. I drove and met up with CC at the Bangsar LRT station and off we went. Took the LRT till Masjid Jamek stop and swapped to take the Star LRT which took us directly to Bukit Jalil. 9 stops would have been bearable had the air conditioning system not died on us for the 1st few stops. Serious torture man!! Everyone was perspiring and I really tried to hold my breath which wasn't easy....

Anyways, we got to our venue 30 mins before the whole event started. They started pretty prompt. It all started with performances from a few different singers. It was mainly singing. Almost each singer had 1 slow and 1 fast track. There were also these group of 4 who really sounded (not bad for Malaysian standard) close to international tenors in opera music like Pavaotti. Honestly it can be rather painful to the ears when they pull to a high pitch! Otherwise, it was quite interesting. It was then followed by speeches and cultural shows which I must say kept my eyes locked onto them. The best part of the show that I enjoyed most is the traditional lion dances. Interestingly enough to know that 1) Yes Lion Dance originated from China & 2) Ahh something I just got to know and be proud of is that Malaysia was the one that started with the poles!

Oh yea, the section where the VIP sat interestingly enough didn't have any retractable shade or anything to shade them from the rain hence were all dressed in ponchos heheehhe.... This will be the first time I ever see the politicians in their ponchos having to walk to and fro the stage for their speeches and to their seats! I believe CC will blog all and he has most of the pictures so I will leave him to do it ;) The event ended 30 mins earlier which was good with short display of fireworks outside of the stadium. It was drizzling so we walked fast to the Star LRT station. Many there were so many people that I found it amazing that the Star LRT could accommodate. It was terrible coz people are squashed together. Thank God the air-conditioning system was working else pengsan. Alight at Masjid Jamek to switch to Putra LRT to head towards Bangsar where my car was parked and sent CC home. There goes my whole Sunday. Though this was something rather spontaneous and ain't my usual cup of tea, I must say I enjoyed it. Probably it's also due to the fact that I dont know what to expect from this show but the history was rather enlightening :D

Maid in the morning and diva by night!

Obviosuly I could not wake up due to the late night the night before. My friend took a really long route to get back to Subang from The Curve. I put my laundry in the machine the night before and woke up just nice to hang but found out that my grandma has done most of it to try to catch the morning sun. Me overslept and cancelled my gym because I had other things to do. I then vacuumed the whole of downstairs plus give it a good mop. Ahhhh I just lurveeee the clean feeling. Call me mad! Oh well, I am honestly trying to help out at the house in any way I could since it's impossible to do it on the weekdays anyway.

Later after that, I got ready to go for my usual teaching on Sat. No replacement today so I'm cool! Just found out that there's a sharp decline in number of students hence the decision to stop the class. I have officially no class to teach on Saturdays anymore. What are my feelings about it? Sad coz lesser money hahaha and Happy coz I have some freedom to do my own stuff.

Went back home after that to rest a bit and do my things. Cleaned my bathroom too. Just hate the fact if bro and dad doesn't cooperate in maintaining the cleanliness which drives me mad! Bro likes to leave the floor wet! Dont know how many times I need to drum the message of keeping the floor dry into his brains! Had my shower at the same time of course and rested a bit till it's the time to meet up with my friend for late dinner.

We ended up eating at ALEXIS coz OPUS was full. Decision for OPUS came a bit late and I guessed that it was impossible to get a place without prior booking. My friends came directly from the workshop as they sent the car for tinting. I parked at BV2 and was already approaching them when I got the offer via TEXT to "double park" in front of them coz Bangsar isn't exactly the best place to get parking unless you pay for jockey. We had an ALEXIS starter combo. My friend had the salad bowl, me had the Caesar salad and her bf had the Chicken Rice. Starters were rather filling which is a good thing that our main course was light. We finished dinner rather late and I was semi persuaded/forced (ddt, forgive me if you're reading hahaha) to stay over instead of driving back home. I took off with my friend in her newly tinted glass car and her bf took my
car to the house.

Guess what??? I finally took a picture of the automobile that I was in!! TADA!!!! We saja went jalan jalan a bit before going back. I joked about passing by Pavillion and we actually ended up doing that with the top down of course ;)

Pho Hoa Dinner on Friday

Ahhh some spice to life! I agreed to join my friends for dinner and drinks. Well, I wasn't sure if my option of visiting ZOUK was gonna happen so I just agreed. Spontaneous decision can be cool at times! I won't or try NOT TO for material things hehehe. I will share on what I have been learning from this latest indulgement that I have been reading up on. Honestly the evening didn't exactly begin that well for me.
First, I worked until I missed my shuttle service at 7:30pm. Dinner's appointment at 8pm. Last shuttle was 8 so I had no choice. I managed to finished what I had to and kind of passed 8pm a bit and guess what!!! The shuttle left before my very eyes as I was just going down the stairs...... I had to pee so bad somemore and was late for dinner and decided to take a quick walk to my parking. It was a bit dark and eerie but I went ahead. Got to my parking, started the car and headed off to the Curve. Traffic wasn't exactly helpful so all in all, I was officially 45 mins late. Everyone just had drinks and just placed orders when I arrive. Got to know some arrived only 15 mins before me and some like an hour because they finsihed work early. Invited one of our friends from a different company to join us hence she was one of the earliest. Dinner was so so, it was Vietnamese. Only thing is I just had Vietnamese dinner the night before. It was a company little outing between 2 different departments. Food wasn't too bad, I only hated the brinjal/eggplant!
After dinner, I left with my other friend to walk to Cineleisure to see if there's anything on. That was about 30 mins to 11pm and not many options on the available movies. I obliged my friend to watch "Apartment 1303" Japanese horror show which was earliest show at 11pm. Shows like Stardust, 1408 or maybe things I wanted to see were all at 11:50pm onwards so that would have been pretty late. I bravely went into the cinema like yea right to watch the show. Interestingly enough, I recognise 2 out of the 4 guys that were walking towards the seats right in front of us. 1 is my direct opposite neighbour! Never expect to see familiar faces in the rather empty hall. Most of the time I was just behind the popcorn bag, fingers and this little soft toy my frined happened to have and loaned to I guess suppress my fears through it hahaha....
Anyways, show ended about 1am. Trust me, it was a crap show. Ceh, now speaking like a brave person after having gone to endure the suffering hehe of getting freaked out. This is one horror show that actually have some comedian parts which amazes me because it's unusual to be try to be funny and scary at the same time. Fair enough for American Pie as that was a different concept altogther. Oh well, dont waste your money hitting the cinema for this! Crap and bullshit!!!

Short Weekend

I got up the next day on Sat, did my laundry and headed off to the studio for class. Taught the 2-3pm class followed by a replacement class for the 4-6pm session. I had a Jamming Session on that evening too. It felt really good to burn some extra calories. I felt lazy to go because I haven't not practise any dances at all prior to it and only know a few dances. I went anyway and ended up leaving at 11pm.
Sunday was interesting as it was like a pre-opening session for friends and families of my mum's latest joint venture with a lady. The little comfy shop sells 'tong suis,' prepacked food like Nasi Lemak, options like vegetarian beehoon and some I dont know what you called those kuehs. Basically it's more like catering simple food. Mum did the Lam Mee (Comments were good as it's not the starchy type & of course more ingredients). The last I had of this Lam Mee aka Birthday Noodles was in Little Penang which was so so as it was starchy and brown. Curry Laksa was also available and some cakes/desserts.
One of my friend came (too last min notification), The other people that came were mainly friends of parents' and relatives. It was a really hot day and it made me a bit grouchy and grumpy. The only disastrous session was the addition of "sugar" into the "tong suis." Mum already had sufficient but somehow it was either my aunt or her friend that added until MYSELF also can't tahan! Unbelievable!!! I have a sweet tooth and for me to find it sweet, you can imagine the sweetness. Initially it was only my aunt's "tong sui" that wasn't sweet and I suppose that she assumed that the rest are similar. As it was our first time and first day, of course kelam kabut a bit here and there.
The best is yet to come. We had a wedding dinner that night and around late afternoon, I accompanied mum to quickly find a pair of shoes and I think we did it all in less than 45 mins and headed back to the shop as her friends were there. I left not too long after that and gone home to take a short nap before getting ready for the dinner. My weekend ended so fast. :/

Holidays over, back to reality.....

Can't believe it's almost a week since I last blogged. So what's been happening?? Basically it was back to work as usual since last Wednesday for my company. There are some companies that started on Tuesday because they had the eve of Raya (Fri) off so it comes back to almost the same thing. Good thing was that traffic was good. I enjoyed the best I could the smooth ride from Wed till Fri as there are people who took the rest of the week plus school was off for the whole of the week. Smoothhhh sailing !! :D
I went back to gym at least 3 times a week to at least do between 20-25 mins cardio. Hit the machines a bit after that. I think I went to Axis outlet twice and made my first visit to Curve outlet last Friday. That very day you wished you have a man to stand by your side. Reason I said that was that I went to Borders after gym and checked out some books. Not too sure after how long did I realise there's this Chinese guy in black polo tee kind of stalking me. I mean there are many people in Borders for sure, standing whilst reading or sitted. Either way, crowd's there. After a while, I actually went to a few corners and somehow this Chinese dude seems to be there. Unbelievable proximity and obviousness.
BORDERS are of course divided by sections ie Fiction, Non Fiction, Horror, Drama, Thriller, etc..whatever la. Each so called division has many books and they aren't very tall (guess I ain't short to begin with!) so you can see across who's in the other corner. Having said that, when the stalker was somewhere else, I decided to quickly go to a corner and bend down to pick a book and read. Well, people do that here. It's free reading. Not too long after that, he actually passed by to so called go to the next aisle. It was so obvious he was following me. Celeka, scary man!!
Subsequently, I headed on to Top Rated books or Top 10 books and somehow he sat himself there reading. From that corner to the payment counter, it isn't too far. When I made my way to the cashier, he somehow drew nearer too and I was wondering what the hell!! I called a friend and asked if he could come to Curve to accompany me. That was coming to 10pm. I paid for my purchase and made my way out. Pretending to be on the phone (left it on silent mode of coz!), I spoke and slowly stop at a shop on my left to look at someting and I could spot him from the corner of my eye that he was making his way out too. I quickened my pace to go into open air dining area and I think I lost him. *PHEW* I think I did because after having looked several times, I don't see him. Perhaps he does realise that I am aware that he's following me.
Stomach was a bit hungry then and I decided to grab a bite before heading to my car and opted for Lavender Chicken Salad and Blueberry Blended Tea at Winter Warmers. Curve is one food haven. Happiness ensues as I headed to my car, drove home and went to bed.

Hip Hip Chin Chin

Oh my, this is hot!!! awesome!! jaw dropping!!!

Fuego - new hip dance

A few samples of line dance versions as well as the hip hop versions.

Something to learn. Glad that I could keep all of these on the blog.

Cha Cha Ruleta

This is pretty good. Something to keep as reference. Few of them are familiar faces who competed in recent Jul'07's Asia Pacific Dance Masters competition in Shang too.

WTH!!!!! Oh Beyonce....

I can't believe that my beloved, favourite, adored singer/dancer ain't stopping by in Malaysia!!! I know it's old news now but arghhh I meant to file my grudge/complaint a while back. Patheticly (dunno if there's such a word) that the concert will be held in our neighboring country, Indonesia. Somemore it will be held in Jakarta. I am still not too sure if I should just get an Air Asia ticket to jet over to see her. It's still held on Nov 1st and dressing ain't an issue there so it's no wonder why Beyonce won't hesitate to drop by there instead. Sad!!!! :( So near yet so far.

Chores & Grey's Anatomy

Woke up about 10:30am after having slept a bit late last night. No hangover luckily! I didn't have too much to drink. Did my laundry (happiness) and some other tidying. Headed off to Gym at almost 1pm and was honestly a bit lazy to go. Luckily there was a class which I could joined. I checked timetable but they only had the timetable from 8th-14th Oct celaka so I thought I had to go and work myself on the machines. I rather join classes to be honest. I was a bit late but still joined the class at the end.

Had lunch at home after that. Washed my toilet (ages since I've done it) whilst showering. My maid was sent back last Tuesday and of course should help out in any little ways that I can since I am er not usually home hehehe....My friend text me earlier when I was just on my way to gym to yum cha. I won't say I wasn't tempted but told her that I was more free towards later part of the afternoon. By the time I am done with the toilet, it was almost 4:30pm. I text her and asked if she was still interested. I went over to the house and she was watching Grey's Anatomy. I watched the last 10 mins of (I dunno which episode) of Season 3 and then we headed off to Ms. Read to have food. Well it was already 6+ then so the drinks was as good as dinner.

Got a nice comfy seat outside where you can just feel comfortable and fold your legs up and sit. It was cool, just the 2 of us and we sat there for quite a bit catching up over dinner. Man, the waitress should not have been a foreigner. I hope it's something that the owners will take note because she obviously haven't a clue on what we wanted. A good thing we made her repeat our orders and guess what, I took the menu from her (i think she's Cambodian and offended too) and started writing down our orders for her in sequence. Having giving it a 2nd thought, we were also worried that she may think the numbering on the left represents the quantity that we wanted. Luckily she's a bit smart la else die! We would have been having 1 x Aglio Oglio, 2 x Mama's Beef Bolognese Spaghettini, 3 x Warm Chicken Salad, 4 x Ice Coffee, 5 x Ice Lemon Tea. I swear I will jump if I was made to pay the bill for that mistake!

Anyhow when one of the drinks came wrongly, Ice Coffee was supposed to be a Black one, I called the owner and told her that the orders are somehow wrong and asked her to take note. Luckily she was nice to bother and looked into it. After makan, we went back to her place and started watching Grey's Anatomy and I must admit that I was hooked! I watched 4 series after that and obviously that was 4 hours. By the time I finished, it was almost 2:30am and I just bunk over.

Sky Bar

In case anyone's interested to know the location, it's on the 33rd Floor of Traders Hotel next to KLCC (Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre) I took a drive to KL for a light dinner after picking up my best friend from PJ knowing that traffic is excellent. Since it was late and was supposed to meet another friend, we went to KLCC (Dome) and had some Minestrone soup. It sucked big time. I ordered a bowl of fries too, absolutely bad food but I didn't finish it. Had some of it. I had indigestion after what I ate at the Open House in the afternoon and the pain was horrendous! I came back, applied some ointment and lied down for a while until it was time to meet my best friend.

I felt that the indigestion pain was about to come after my food at Dome's and decided to take it easy. We left for Sky Bar about 10pm to find out that my other friend had to fly Boeing 777 on us. Not her fault entirely, she had to see to a customer last minute with her mum. We proceeded to the 33rd floor after parking outside. I had about 3 different drinks or is it the drinks that took away the pain to come? haha...I haven't a clue. We started off with the Lychee Martini (so called drinks for the ladies) but I kind of felt that it was so bitter that it was hard to down it. My best friend finished hers pretty quick. I took forever to drink it which I concluded to the lack of practise in this area only to find out that I didn't exactly stir the rose syrup at the bottom haha....

My friend had a 2nd drink which was Cloud 9....CUN!!!!! If only I ordered the same. I had the Rum, Malibu Pineapple which honestly looks just like a normal juice since the presentation is just in a tall glass. I downed it fast and begin to feel a bit er tipsy I think haha....Poor drinker I am! Cloud 9's mix was great and it was found under one the "signature drinks" in Sky Bar's menu. I can't remember the mix but they had Bailey's which has always been my all time favorite - kononnya la! I can only of course drink little and slow and it has to be with lots of rocks! If I had Bailey's knit, pengsan.

The place was packed with lots of Caucasians and other people. I suppose you don't normally expect to see this on a Sunday night but since it's a holiday the next day for everyone, you still see people coming in from 11pm onwards. I have never stayed till the place close so I am actually aware of their closing time. Just into my 2nd drink, I recognise a familiar face walking towards the bar and it was my 1st personal trainer when I registered at Fitness First I think 2 or 3 years ago. I just saw him only last week and we caught up. I introduced him to my Sam and he found him pretty good looking. I acknowledge that too but you know pretty boys with built bodies can only result in one thing!!! I may be wrong but I never asked heheehhe...

My friend had 2 other drinks after that which I dont know the name but one was with Orange Juice (waitress's mistake) and 2nd with Cranberry which was supposed to be the choice in the 1st place. I had Cloud 9 as my 3rd drink yay!!!! One thing about "sweet" drinks is that you drink it like normal sweet drinks when you can down easily but beware of the alcohol which will eventually surface! Surprisingly we all or rather myself was still ok. I supposed it's due to the fact that we paced out the drinks pretty well. We were there for approx 3 hours until it closed at 1am. Happiness for the day after having not chill for a while :)

1st Raya Open House in 2007

Yesterday was the first Raya Open House that I've attended this year. I do miss Malay cookings at times. Security has to be a bit tight to get into the place. Do expect to see many nice cars there. Whatever latest car from BMW or Mercedes/Porsche, you name it, they have it. Most came with drivers for those with S Merc series obviously. Me and my friend just wore 3/4 pants with a top. Luckily we didn't just wear Baby Tee to come coz we kind of felt out of place when you see people most wearing Baju Kurung/Kebaya/Melayu, whatever you name it. Felt better when we saw people wearing casual Khaki pants with T-Shirt and sandals hehehehe...

We went up straight to greet my good friend's mum and herself of course. We took a seat and started the journey for food haha...My dear friend, takde Lontong oneeeee :( heheheh.... Anyways, the food selection was quite varied from Chinese, Indian to Malay. I had my Hokkien Mee, Char Kuey Teow. Didn't touch the King Prawn Noodles which looked good and the Roti Canai as well. I supposed this mixture is because it's opened to people of all races. Me and my friend reached a bit late. The Open House was from 12-4pm. Anyhow there was still lots of food left and there are still people walking in close to 4pm as well. I had my Ice Kacang (without the silly kidney beans) as well as some Patchi chocs! Met quite a few familiar faces and went ahead to extend my greetings.

Priorities and Oct 28 tickets.

See CC! I kept my word. Went straight to Summit after church to get the tickets. Left my car for washing and vaccumming too whilst going to collect my tickets. Luckily they really honor their word to keep the tickets for me else I would have to start searching like in Popular outlets and god knows the other places. Anyhow, the ticket looks so CHINESEEEEEEEE but well it is organized by MCA so there!

Why I can blog is because I am waiting for a friend's call and then we will be heading off to PM's open house. Honored honored, only close friends and families are invited hehehehe. The public open house was held yesterday at PWTC but I didn't attend that. I planned part of this long weekend to cater to some spring cleaning and catching up on some of the things I need to do or help out. I organized my washroom's cupboard, took out a lot of NIVEA FOR MEN products which are still usable to give to friends since my vain bro isn't utilizing what I have kept initially for him. I clear out the rubbish from my washroom. Didn't do for the rest yet. I did my laundry, went to gym for Body Attack class followed by Line Dance. Mistake was I had a bit of noodles prior to class and I hadn't a clue that what was in store for me was a high impact exercise. Obviously I chose the lower impact one since we had options. I swear my butt must have gotten a good workout coz it feels a bit painful whenever I squeeze it haha....A testimony on areas that I hardly work on!

Anyways, got to get ready soon. Fingers crossed that they will have the Lontong because I had it during one of the fasting days when they buka puasa and it was so gooddddd! *yum yum* Can't wait to go. Let me see what will I be doing. The open house is till 4pm so after that I should be lepaking la a bit until dinner with my best friend who will be making her way back from Seremban. I want to buy her dinner though I am not exactly monetarily rich hahaha....Wonder where to take her. Never even book any place yet. Will play by ear. Was thinking of ONE WORLD HOTEL'S buffet. Let me google for the number first and check if I can still reserve 2 places.

Porcshe

I am smacking myself for not taking a photo of the car!!! Cun Cun Cun!!! A friend picked me up from Damansara Perdana and we headed towards KL Hilton for dinner coz my other buddy's bf is catching a flight back to JB and will hitch a ride via the KLIA Express. This may seemed a bit like "sakai" but I took just 1 picture of the KLIA express in my recent trip to SG hehehe.

Tada!!! Here's the Pic!! Didn't dare to stand up in case I start getting strange look from the people around..

Continuing my story, we dined at the Noodle Room which I didn't know exist next to Sudu only. Malunya!!! Anyways, noodle wasn't too bad. They have a very interesting way of putting the menu, it's like a mini book with a pencil and the order form placed nicely in a square orange plastic. Too bad, no pictures to elaborate further ;) Whoever is interested to go, I will just bring you there and you can see for yourself. Back to my dinner, I chose this BHAMI GORENG with Yellow Noodles and it was nice! Like mee mamak but of course you pay through your nose dining at KL Hilton! The food was good obviously. All noodle price starts from RM20 onwards.

My other friends had Loh Shee Fun and Assam Laksa. I didn't try the Assam Laksa but was told that it was quite sour. I must try the other noodles as of course pictures always make it look tempting! Halfway through the meal, my friend took off a while to send her bf to the KLIA Express station and came back in about 15 mins. There was a Malay Celebrity who was sitted in the table next to us with a group of friends. Not very close by but most of us spotted her. I swear I forgot her name but she was a pretty malay lady. She was also a TV Host and also does freelance MC-ing. She was the recent MC during the Queen's Foundation event in MO that I attended.

The best is yet to come hehehe....After the meal, we made plans with the other friends to meet up at Alexis, Bangsar. Me and my buddy headed towards the Jockey to collect the fabulous car hehehe.... The jockey was so polite and cute that after he closed the doors behind us, he suggested that we put on a Christian Dior scarf with our top down. Can ah like that? We concluded that it was a good idea and that he is gay...hehe :) Ahhh..this is the interesting bit. We only had the top down for like 20 secs after we got out of the parking area to fnd that it was still drizzlinggggg celakaaaaaaa.....So we just parked at the side and had the soft top up again. So much of wanting to cruise with top down.

Off we went to Bangsar but somehow took the wrong turn and head to go towards Brickfields and make a U-E. A bit the scared la since only 2 girls in that car. We definitely garnered many stares. Being in such a nice sports car makes normal Merc / Beamer nothing that spectacular ha! Gave the carkeys to the regular jockey to park the car for us and went to have coffee with friends. Surprisingly we beat my other friends to the place despite the wrong turn and heavy traffic only to find out that they too took the wrong turn. We chilled for about 2 hours I think and then left. Since the rain has stopped, we decided to have the top down. KEWLNESS!! Went from Bangsar into KL. Passed by Pavillion. It was my 1st time seeing since it opened. Looks nice, like dept stores in foreign countries in a glance. Will check it out sometime. We headed home to D'sara Perdana after that.

Passport Renewal!

Wah lau, it's slightly more than a week into Q4 of 2007!!! Another 3 more months to go and we will be in 2008. How fast! Lets see what have I been doing. Well as usual busy with work. I have been travelling to to SG twice now in the last 2 weeks. Once on 25th Sept for meeting and came back on 26th Sept. The other was just last Friday, 5th Oct.

This time's trip was a bit of a rush. Worked till almost 1am the night before and still couldn't finish. Plus my presentation charts for the following day has not even been completed. Ended up sleeping around 3+ and had to wake up about 6+ so that I can head on to D'sara Heights to renew my passport. Woke up a bit late of course and reached about 15 mins past 8am as traffic was bad! I got my passport in about 1 1/2 hours which was cool! I supposed I was a bit more pushy since I had to catch my 12pm flight.

Basically renewing passport is very simple now. I wished I could take more pictures to show the steps but anyways, once you google, you will find it on many people's blogs. Please bring along with you your MKAD, RM300 (32 pages)/RM500 (64 pages) and a bit of cash for photo taking. Trust me, it's easy. Basic steps are:

a) Go to Blok I in Damansara Heights. The immigration office is directly opposite Giant. Have your photo taken first before heading to the office. There are 2 ways of renewing, either through KIPPAS (machine based) or the usual manual way (was told that speed is similar as that of machine's)

b) Once you get your digital photos which is really fast, head on to the KIPPAS office (right at the Ground Level) where it currently house 3 machines to handle passport renewal. Unfortunately I couldn't capture it too close, the banner actually states that it starts working from 8:30am onwards but when I called the immigration office, they did advice me to come earlier, say about 7:30am. Up to you at the end of the day. I still got mine pretty fast so do it at your own risk!

c) Check with the officer to see if your current passport is chip based or not. If it is, you may proceed with the KIPPAS method of renewal because it's similar machines that can read MYKAD. If it's not chip based, please proceed I think Level 2 for the manual way. For those who do manual, please check. I collected my passport at Level 2 so I assume that it may be at the same level but I may be wrong.

d) Next you just fill up a simple form that you requires your NAME, NRIC and contact nmber. Put your newly taken photographed (just 1) with that form into an envelope. Then head towards the machine.

e) Place your old passport on the machine. Next followed by MYKAD, fingerprint and subseqently slot in RM300 into the machine and a receipt will be produced. On the receipt, it states that collection is 2 hours after submission time. Mine was 8:50am and was supposed to get mine at 10:50am but I tried my luck to check with the officer and she asked to check at 10am.

f) Collection of new passport is on Level 2. You will have to go to Counter 16, show your receipt and a waiting number will be issued to you. It wasn't a long wait for me. I only had to wait for 1 number and I got my passport the next minute.

Ahhhh....finally something great to shout about Malaysia ;)
